Q: What are the advantages and disadvantages of living and working abroad?
The advantage of working abroad is earning money so you can your help family back home. The disadvantage is being away from your family and love ones.

Q: Compare and contrast Bodø to the city where you live in the Philippines. What are the similarities and differences?

Daw wla man similarities. (I don't see any similarities) :). The differences are the way of living, the culture....

Q: What can you say about the Norwegian people in general?

Norwegians are very open minded people.

Q: What the Filipinos could learn from Norwegians?

There are two things Filipinos could learn from Norwegians. First, their open-mindedness. Second, their sense of independence. â€‹

Q: On the other hand, what the Norwegians could learn from the Filipinos?

I know that Filipinos and Norwegian have different cultures. What can I say about us is that Filipinos are religious, we value humility, we are very hardworking people. We always wear smiles any time of the day. Most Filipinos are gifted with good voice and we are sharing that to the world with our internationally acclaimed singers. We are also generous. Filipinos are amiable, honest, respectful and God fearing people.

Q: If a Norwegian asks you, why is it “It’s more fun in the Philippines?”. How will you answer him/her.

The Philippines is composed of 7,107 islands with various dialects. Every island has its own tourist attraction that could really attract the eyes of the locals and the foreigners. We have Mayon volcano, Boracay and the underground river in Palawan to name a few. We boast not only these beautiful places but also the food that are only found in the Philippines. You will enjoy the hospitality of Filipinos with an extra smile. Traveling around is affordable and every destination is accessible from Luzon, Visayas to Mindanao. Once you visited my country, you will surely come back to relax in the unique nature of The ''PHILIPPINES''...

Q: Norwegian cuisine is quite different from Filipino cuisine. What Norwegian food do you think tastes “weird/different”? Moreover, what Filipino food you would want the Norwegian to taste and why?

I really find "lutefisk" quite weird. :) The filipino food that I want them to taste is "ballot" because it has an exotic taste that can only found in the Philippines, it smell like hell but taste like heaven.

Q: How did you know about FCB and what are your memorable moments being a member of the organization?

I have known about it from my host family and from other Filipinos in Bodø. The memorable moments are hanging out with FCB members, party and picture taking. â€‹

Q: How do you see yourself 10 years from now?

Happily living with my family, kids and husband! :)
